Code of Conduct for Rugby Coaches

 

A coach does not confront or challenge another coach in front of rugby players.
A coach does not interfere with any rugby player during a match.
A coach shows respect for match officials and does not argue with referees during games.
A coach addresses concerns or issues after the match, not during play.
A coach does not shout instructions at players from another team.
A coach refrains from criticizing other teams, players, or coaches publicly.
A coach promotes good sportsmanship, both on and off the field.
A coach leads by example in maintaining discipline and professionalism.
A coach ensures all feedback is constructive and given at appropriate times (e.g., during training or halftime).
 
If you cannot adhere to these standards, you should not be coaching at senior-level rugby.
